Hi guys <3

I’ve lived with depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember. I’m ridiculously sensitive to my own inner world and to everyone else’s. I feel other people’s pain in my body. I absorb rooms. I honestly think I’ve lived with unusually low access to whatever lets most people relax, and that’s given me a strange, intimate view of the world. For a long time, I thought this meant something was dangerously wrong with me—that I lacked the morals and drive required to be an acceptable human.

So I learned how to be quiet, “good,” and how to hold everything on my own. I believed the work was fixing myself and I’ve spent most of my time trying to do that.

In the deepest despair at the height of my autoimmune disease, I finally understood the message my body was trying to deliver. My nervous system did exactly what it had to do to survive. The patterns I resented were intelligent. My sensitivity isn’t a flaw—it’s information.

This Substack is where I write from inside that shift—about shame, creativity, the body, meaning, and the quiet ways we learned to leave ourselves. It’s for anyone who’s tired of performing, disappearing, or pretending they’re fine.

This work is healing me, and I hope it heals you too.
